Casa Noriega is named in honor of Elvira Noriega, a Sonoran businesswoman who led the hotel from 1938 to 1965, driven by an unwavering passion for customer service.
She possessed remarkable administrative skills and genuine empathy for her team, always attentive to every detail of what was then the finest hotel in the city. As a special personal touch, she often delighted guests with delicious dishes she prepared herself — a gesture that made travelers feel at home, even while far from it.
